Hoje eu resolvi indicar algumas séries que eu amo e maratonei. Ou seja, sou viciada!
Essa lista é especialmente dedicada às séries que já encerraram ou que, infelizmente, foram canceladas.
GILMORE GIRLS
Gilmore Girls estreou em 2000 e teve 7 temporadas. A série conta a história de Lorelai e Rory, mãe e filha. A amizade entre elas é uma das coisas mais lindas que já vi em uma série, e acho que foi muito importante passar essa ligação aos telespectadores. Lorelai representa uma mulher forte. Ela é mãe solteira, trabalhou a vida toda sem depender dos pais, encara a vida com bom humor e conseguiu criar perfeitamente bem sua filha.
Rory é uma das garotas mais inteligentes que já vi, sem contar que ela é apaixonada pelos livros. Por ter 7 temporadas, nós podemos ver o desenvolvimento dos personagens ao longo dos anos. É muito divertido ver como a atriz Alexis Bledel (Rory) cresceu tanto.
Se você já é fã da série ou pretende assistir, tenho uma ótima notícia para você.
Foi confirmado que Gilmore Girls vai voltar após quase 10 anos! A Netflix vai exibir os episódios e está fazendo de tudo para trazer de volta todos os atores originais. Cada episódio terá 90 minutos e cada estação do ano retratará um ano da vida dos personagens.
Eu mal posso esperar para ver qual o rumo os personagens tomaram desde o último episódio em 2007.
FRIENDS
Friends estreou em 1994 e teve 10 temporadas. A série mostra a vida de seis amigos, inseparáveis, que superam os problemas da vida sempre um ao lado do outro, e com muito humor. Com o passar dos episódios, você se conecta com os personagens e não fica apenas rindo da piada deles. Em minha opinião, a música de entrada (I’ll Be There For You) é perfeita e descreve muito bem o tema da série.
Isso é o que mais gosto em séries com várias temporadas. Não é apenas contar uma história, é também mostrar como os personagens se desenvolvem ao longo dos anos; assim como nós. Tem várias coisas em FRIENDS que você pode achar clichê e repetitivo, porém é uma série que você se apega aos personagens e quer saber o que acontece em seguida. Muitas pessoas assistem os episódios em aleatório. Eu indico acompanhá-los na ordem. Pode não fazer diferença no começo, mas no final, faz toda a diferença.
EYE CANDY
Eye Candy estreou em 2015 e teve 1 temporada. Lindy é uma habilidosa hacker que consegue obter informações que ninguém mais consegue. Certo dia, ela baixa um aplicativo e começa a procurar relacionamentos online para se distrair. Após vários encontros, ela suspeita que um de seus pretendentes pode ser um assassino. Com muita ação e suspense, a série não foca apenas em pegar o stalker, mas também na aliança entre Lindy e a polícia para desvendar outros casos.
Eye Candy é focada em mostrar como os relacionamentos online podem ser perigosos e que não fazemos ideia de como uma pessoa obsessiva pode agir.
É uma pena que a série foi cancelada. A história é maravilhosa e havia muito futuro para os personagens. É lamentável ver que o mais importante para as emissoras é o número de telespectadores e não apenas a qualidade de uma série.
CRISTELA
Cristela estrou em 2014 e teve 1 temporada. A série conta a história de Cristela, uma mulher que tem o sonho de ser uma advogada e apesar de não ter tido muitas oportunidades na vida, nunca desistiu de seu sonho. Essa é outra série que traz uma mensagem muito importante. Muitas vezes, nós sonhamos com algo e nossa família não nos apoiam, porém não significa que você precisa desistir. Além de encarar a vida com muito humor e solidariedade às pessoas ao seu redor, Cristela corre atrás de todas as oportunidades que consegue e não deixa nada lhe abalar.
Devido ao baixo número de telespectadores, a série também foi cancelada. Era extremamente divertido assistir aos episódios. Sentirei saudade das piadas e de chorar de tanto rir. Com certeza eu irei maratonar outra vez.
Espero que vocês tenham gostado e aceito alguma das indicações. Tente assistir pelo menos os cinco primeiros episódios de uma série. Você nunca sabe qual delas pode ser a sua nova favorita!

GILMORE GIRLS
Gilmore Girls was released in 2000 and had 7 seasons. The series tells the story of Lorelai and Rory, mother and daughter. The friendship between them is one of the most beautiful things I’ve seen in a series and I think that was very important show this to the viewers. Lorelai is a strong woman. She is a single mother, worked all her life without depending on her parents, she faces life with humor and managed to create her daughter perfectly well.
Rory is one of the smartest girls I’ve ever seen, not to mention that she loves books. With seven seasons we can see the development of the characters over the years. It’s fun to see how the actress Alexis Bledel (Rory) has grown so much.
If you are already a fan of the TV Show or plan to watch I have great news for you.
It was confirmed that Gilmore Girls will come back after almost 10 years! Netflix will display the revival and is doing everything to bring back all the original actors. Each episode will be 90 minutes long and each season of the year will portray one year.
I can not wait to see which directions the characters took since the last episode in 2007.
FRIENDS
Friends was released in 1994 and had 10 seasons. The series follows the life of six friends, inseparable, that overcome the problems of life always next to each other and with great humor. Over the episodes you connect with the characters and does not just laugh with them. In my opinion, the entrance music (I’ll Be There For You) it’s perfect and pretty much describes the TV Show.
That’s what I like in series with multiple seasons. It’s not just a story. It also shows how the characters develop over the years; just like us. There’s several things in FRIENDS you can find cliché and repetitive, but it is a series that you want to know what happens next. Many people watch the episodes at random. I recommend to watch them in order. You can’t notice the difference at first, but it makes all the difference.
EYE CANDY
Eye Candy was released in 2015 and had one season. Lindy is an amazing hacker that can obtain information that no one else can. One day she downloads an app and starts searching online dating to distract. After several meetings, she suspects that one of her candidates can be a killer. With plenty of action and suspense, the series does not focus only on catching the stalker, but also in the alliance between Lindy and the police to uncover other cases.
Eye Candy is focused on showing how online relationships can be dangerous and that we have no idea how an obsessive person can act.
It’s sad that the TV Show was canceled. The story is wonderful and there was so much future for the characters. It is unfortunate to see that the most important for broadcasters is the number of viewers and not only the quality of the episodes.
CRISTELA
Cristela was released in 2014 and had one season. The series tells the story of Cristela, a woman who has the dream of being a lawyer and despite not having many opportunities in life, never gave up on her dream. This is another series that brings a very important message. Often, we dream of something and our family don’t support us, but does not mean you have to give up. Cristela runs after every opportunity that she can. She always deals with problems of life with humor and sympathy to the people around her.
Due to the low number of viewers, the TV Show was also canceled. It was extremely fun to watch the episodes. I feel nostalgic when I remember of it. I certainly will marathon this TV Show again.
I hope you enjoyed and accept any of the recommendations. Try to watch at least the first five episodes of a series. You never know which one might be your new favorite!
